Rock Drilling

Ledge Creek Development utilizes two state of the art vertical rock drilling rigs that are unique to Western New York.

Our rock drills allow us to provide our customers the advantage of drilling and placing utility and light poles, bollards, caissons, and test pits, instead of employing rock busting and excavation equipment. Rock drilling is clean, efficient, and faster.

Many utility poles either deteriorate, or are damaged by a storm or sometimes motor vehicles. Ledge Creek Development’s rock drilling machines are able to vertically drill into rock to install to install utility poles where normal excavation methods are unable to be used. Our experienced drilling team will install a “pole hole” where others are unable to.
