Horizontal Directional Drilling

Directional boring, also referred to as horizontal directional drilling (HDD).

Itis a minimal impact trenchless method of installing underground utilities such as pipe, conduit, water lines, sewer lines or cables along an underground path using a specialized drilling rig.

Directional Boring/HDD offers significant environmental advantages over traditional cut and cover pipeline utility installations. The technique is routinely used when conventional trenching or excavating is not practical or when minimal surface disturbance is required.

Ledge Creek Development is the industry leader in Western New York and has successfully completed a wide range of projects utilizing directional drilling. We can install electric conduit, natural gas lines, water lines, sewer lines, and any other type of utility line that needs to be installed on a project.
